The proximity to the beach was great and the apartment had all the necessary amenities. the apartment was spacious with a separate bedroom, a deck with a table and chairs, and a self-catering kitchen. the host was very friendly and welcoming, and spoke perfect English.
The wifi was not good and the lack of air conditioning in the living area was disappointing. there was a dog on the property that was always in the way.

I recently stayed at Casa Tropical in Costambar for a week-long vacation. The owners, Michael and his wife, were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided great recommendations for activities, such as the Isla Paraiso tour and visiting the Teleferico and 27 Charcos. The apartment I stayed in was spacious and had a beautiful balcony with a view of the beach and pool. The property itself was stunning and had a peaceful atmosphere. The proximity to the beach and beach bar was a bonus, and the apartment had all the amenities I needed. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful place.
Totally recommend this hotel.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the fact that the hotel was very close to the beach, just a short walk away. The convenience of having the beach right there was amazing. Another great aspect was the location of the hotel, with shops and restaurants within a 10-minute walk. It made it easy to explore the area and grab a bite to eat whenever I wanted. the area felt safe and the hotel had a quiet and relaxing environment, perfect for a peaceful vacation.
One thing I didn't like during my stay was the temperature of the shower water, as it was a bit cold for my liking. Another downside was dealing with mosquitoes, which can be expected in a tropical climate.

The apartment was excellent and the value was tremendous! the owner happily accommodated any needs I requested, like an extension cord and special rice pot. the place was a 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach and nearby restaurants!
My only problem was mosquitoes, but I had sufficient bug spray and incense to keep them away. Some plants needed trimming, which blocked some walkways.
